Thought to be one of the best orange deciduous azaleas, it is certainly one of the most popular. It has an upright growth habit and can reach about 5' tall at maturity. Gibraltar does best in full sun to partial shade and generally blooms midseason. Our bloom photos were taken at the end of May, here in Oregon. Hardy to 15F when protected from windchill.
