This plaid cloth design was typical of 1970's & 80's Minis and was originally used on both the Clubman Saloon (normally the Mini 1100 Special and Mini HL models) & Estate models from 1973 onwards

The split in the top half is to allow calico flaps sewn to the seat cover to be pulled through and attached to the frame to give the seat cover definition

This seat cover kit is to replace original factory reclining seat covers that were an optional extra in the production of the MKII Coopers which were originally only produced in black

creating a more luxury feel and look
